Brackstone Builders have been specialising in alterations and improvements to homes across Wiltshire for three decades.
Our work can be found in some of the most picturesque villages such as Biddestone and Lacock as well as in many of our lovely villages on and around the Salisbury Plain. We take a huge amount of pride in our work and bringing buildings back to life through renovation or alteration gives us the opportunity to create something really special. We have taken on challenges such as converting a tumble down but listed barn which required a careful and sympathetic approach to save the remainder of the building and then to enhance it and create useable accommodation at first floor level plus garaging and a games room at ground floor level. The net result was a completely charming annexe to the main house in this pretty village. One of the most ambitious and successful transformations to a property we have been involved with was the complete alteration and refurbishment of a 1950’s concrete block built farmhouse. The work entailed the complete internal refurbishment of the building including alterations to window openings and re-roofing as well as the complete removal of the external blockwork and replacement with hand-made bricks and Ashlar Bath Stone.
